PPS. No matter what happens tomorrow night, I want you all to know that I love you all. Really. (No, not in that way, cretinousgoat cretinousgoat ).

The match will be played, and someone (please please let it be Hugo) will lift a trophy, and we will either all be over the moon, or sick as a parrot.

But over the past 5+ years I have come to know you all as brothers (and sisters, Mrs Perryman Mrs Perryman ) in arms. Each and every one of you has made me laugh out loud and you have got me through some tough times in my life - I completed multiple tours in Afghanistan and it has taken a while to ‘iron out the wrinkles’ in my mental health.

You will never know how much the bollocks that gets spouted on here has helped me - but it’s honestly the closest thing I found to military ‘bantz’ I have found since becoming a civvy.

Sorry for being a big old softie, but I suppose all I want to say is, wherever you are and whoever you are with - enjoy the the ride and .....

COME ON YOU SPURS!!!!!!!

Liverpool will be a push over. Their best players are a Brazilian forward who can't get in the national team, a midfielder from relegated Newcastle and a defender from Southampton.

Oh wait....

A mate of mine was gifted through his work 2 tickets in a corporate box for the Champions League final in Madrid on Saturday 1st June. These tickets are part of a package deal and include flights and a 2 night 5* hotel stay in Madrid city centre. Unfortunately the final is on the same day as his wedding! So if you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place.
It's at Tottenham Registry Office, at 4pm. The bride's name is Nicola -- she's 5'4", about 8 stone, quite pretty, has her own income and is a really good cook.

Closing registration, locking it down. I'll deal with the (glorious?) mess this place is in tomorrow. Have a good one. Let's do this. Fucking come on you Spurs!

We’d won 2 European trophies before Liverpool won their first (knocking us out on away goals in the 1973 UEFA cup semi-final) and yet a quick glance at RAWK would suggest we have no European history at all, and we are undeserving of a place in the final.

I know they like a bit of thievery, but don’t try and rob us of our history - we showed everyone how it was done - remember that.

Hi Guys,

First of all congratulations with the win. It was a fantastic game and showed what football is all about.
I already purchased a flight and a hotel in the centre of madrid for the final but as Ajax now is out I hopefully can make someone of you happy.

I have a hotel (2 person room) in Madrid for May 31 and June 1 (Friday and Saturday - night) and a flight (for 2) from Brussel to Madrid and back (May 31 - June 4). It cost me in total 800 euro. As hotel prices are now completely crazy hopefully I can make someone happy with the hotel (and if you want - also the flight, for the hotel I can for sure still change the names - for the flight have to check but normally should be able to change too). A total of 800 euro would work for me as I do not want to make a profit out of it.

If you are interested - please send me a personal message.

And finally, best of luck in the finals - you guys deserve to win it! Special thumps up to Toby, Jan, Davison and Christian!

Trips to Madrid, the WHL-rave and even a piss up in one of the local boozers sound positively tantalising but.....

I'M GOING HOME!!!!!!!

PS - I have to give an enormous shout out to Mrs Seven Sisters. 12 years’ marriage (plus the amusing gymnastic bit before that) and she literally gives not one shit about football. And even so, when a friend of hers invited us to dinner tomorrow night (I know, BLATANT middle class, innit) she explained that she wouldn’t dream of depriving me of what she knows might just be the nights to rival all others ... Gawd bless ‘er

RAWK

We fucking have to win it. Spurs in a European Cup final is just so wrong.

How can a team that have lost so many times this season be representative of the best teams in Europe?

Would rather have had Ajax than another English team. Just hope it’s not 3rd time lucky for Spurs against us. Especially as those twats have no european history at all.

Fucking horrible rats. Watching Harry Kane running onto the pitch in joy is a stomach churning sight.

Dreadful final, taken some of the sheen of it.

fuck off spurs, you really don't belong here. we'll smash you in madrid.

A much uglier final for Tottenham being in it.

Fuck Spurs. Bunch of jammy c*nts. They dont deserve to be in the final. Thoroughly outplayed for 135 minutes and got lucky.

I just want to see that mouth breathing ogre cry, that is all I ask. Don't even want the PL.

Imagine getting to a CL final in Madrid and finding fucking Spurs waiting for you

Experience of what? Winning the UEFA Cup in 1984?

It's a shit final. Feels like the FA Cup.

Regardless of the fact they’re playing us, spurs in a CL final is one of the weirdest things ever.

Feels like a League Cup final.

I was just really looking forward to the pomp and ceremony of a true European final.

Spurs didn't do anything heroic

Woolwich? That would be the easiest by a good margin. A top club who we have a decent relationship with.

If we lose then we clearly aren't made of the right minerals and will need some serious introspection losing a CL final to a side like Spurs.

Feels so weird having Spurs in there. Just feels like they don’t belong at this level.

It would be a true shame if spurs won it. The worst ever side to win it imo.

Great start to the day, beautiful sunshine, breakfast in the garden, watching interviews galore on my phone and then bang!

My daughter comes outside and tells me that she's invited her boyfriend, a Southampton fan, a fucking Southampton supporter around tonight to watch the final.

Fuck that I say. No way am I having anyone near my house who isn't a die hard yid. He can fuck off down the pub with all the scouse wankers and talk shit with them.

Safe to say, she's not happy and stormed back indoors shouting at the top of her voice that i'm unreasonable. I wouldn't mind so much, but I don't even like her boyfriend, little prick. COYS

Only got home from Madrid last night, a ton of posts on here that I doubt I've got time to read but will try to catch up on.

Great trip on the whole, going to sound corny but it really was a good crack between the two sets of supporters, before KO it was a carnival atmosphere and I preferred this to many of the European games I've been to where you can't relax too much without the fear of being stabbed in the arse. I really enjoyed sharing a few pints with some of the scousers, although this was away from the main Liverpool supporter areas where I refused to venture into. The only threat I felt was from the Spanish Old Bill, seriously not once did they smile, talk or try to engage with either Liverpool or Spurs fan, always left with the impression they were looking to bash you on the skull if you gave them that 2nd look, a Police presence should be there to make you feel protected but it's wrong to feel that they are where the threat is coming from, nasty cunts.

The other thing I didn't like was the whole UEFA set-up fan zone thing, the fan isn't catered for, they exist solely to cater for the corporate, not the fan.

We were outnumbered significantly in Madrid, away from the stadium but once inside the stadium our fans were class, Liverpool fans just didn't sing at all from about 10mins after the first goal right up to about 5mins before they got their 2nd. (It did go flat from both sets of supporters after the pen, Spurs fans got their voice back after about 30mins, but that pen did have a huge effect on who the game was played and how the fans were engaged in the game, it was odd). Best show from us was a defining "Oh When the Spurs" as the teams came out and even better version at the end of the game which made me well up whilst signing it. FUCKING LOVE THIS CLUB, LOVE THIS TEAM.

Sitting next to my mate as we kicked off, he said: "Just control and contain the first 10mins, lets' not concede a fuc.................." He didn't even finish the sentence before the pen was given. Didn't think it was a pen in real time, I've seen the replays and no way was it a pen, why didn't the ref at least to go to VAR, what the fuck is it there for???!

Disappointing night obviously and a crap game too. Let me tell you it was a very warm night, so don't think it was ever going to be a classic (finals rarely are anyway). Frustrating as we were the better of the two subdued sides.

I don't go along with the people saying Kane shouldn't have started, he may not have been on the ball anywhere as much as we or he would have liked (BTW he was more involved that Salah, Fermino and Mane were for Liverpool!!) but he was making a lot of runs off the ball which created a lot of space, we actually had numerous chances where we were 3 vs 3 or even overloaded them with 3 vs 2's and 4 vs 3's but our final ball was either poor or we chose the wrong option or Liverpool defended it very well. Our build-up play from the back was great, in fact, one of the best we've played and we drew Liverpool onto us well and passed through them and into Winks playing well from deep. We got into some terrific positions but didn't play that final ball.

Anyway, suspect this is all boring now as has been debated to death on here since the final whistle, so I will not bang on. Other than to surmise that I was disappointed with the performances of Son, Dele and Eriksen and of course Tripps. I thought everyone else was good, including Kane (can't blame him for not touching it if we can't find him). Our best player I thought was Winks before he came off but over the full 90 mins would say that would have to go to either of our two CB's or Rose.

Really exciting times for us ahead:
1. We are back home, in the best stadium in the Wolrd. Just being at home should be worth 6-10 points in the season. Then there are the new revenues with now over double the revenues we got from Old WHL, probably a lot more too when looking at the all the other commercial stuff that it can pull in via association.
2. Pre-Season. I would prefer our players not to be involved in the up and coming International's even if it is for a couple of games but feel our lads need to unplug and chill and then get back refreshed and ready to go again for the season. Anyway, whatever happens, we should be in a better place than last year with the number of players involved in the WC and consequently had zero pre-season.
3. I like the talk in the press about the players we are linked at getting rid of on the whole.
4. New players - I am also encouraged with the players we are currently linked with. A massive challenge to get them in however as we are not the only ones they are linked too. But more importantly, than individuals, it does appear we are targeting the obvious areas we need to address.

What a fantastic run we've had, a Champions League final was special for the club, there is no reason we can't repeat this again within the next three years. I look across Europe now and I only see Man City as the side who are better and look at what we did to them this season. Even though they beat us, we were better than Liverpool in the final, I DO NOT FEAR THEM! Seriously we are up there with everyone else, I do not fear any side in Europe other than City who I think are miles better than us and everyone else (but hey, they may not be playing in it next year!).

Up The Spurs!
