To be fair, there’s not much difference between Dier and Sanchez to be honest, they are both dire... Sanchez has more speed but Dier has better distribution, both are prone to mistakes. It seems Mourinho has finally realised his mistake in favouring Dier over him. A good run in the team and I'm hoping we'll see an even better Sanchez.
As a matter of fact Dier has been playing LCB all season and Sanchez when selected is RCB.It seems Mourinho has finally realised his mistake in favouring Dier over him. A good run in the team and I'm hoping we'll see an even better Sanchez.
True, but the fact Mou has accommodated Sanchez by moving Toby from RCB to LCB tells us he's lost trust in Dier. It's saying I even prefer a RCB specialist, Toby in your position. As a matter of fact Dier has been playing LCB all season and Sanchez when selected was RCB.
Sanchez is currently playing on the right instead of Toby.
Toby has recently played 3 games instead of Dier on the left.
OK. That's your opinion and there is obviously some truth in it because Dier has been missing recently.True, but the fact Mou has accommodated Sanchez by moving Toby from RCB to LCB tells us he's lost trust in Dier. It's saying I even prefer a RCB specialist, Toby in your position.
The main thing for me is that Toby and Sanchez (despite his faults) both defend better than Dier. And their partnership has looked promising in recent games. Sanchez' speed and aggression coupled with Toby's experience, defensive nous, distribution and leadership.
unfortunately him, dier and aurier always will cause anxiety. lets just hope he doesnt have much to do and the ball is kept outside our boxPlease don't make a horrendous fuck up tomorrow - save it for another game please.
Has played better recently but big test coming. Still makes me nervous.
Does the same sentiment go to the constantly missing PEH?Any day a centre half gives away fairly needlessly a match winning penalty, he’s had a bad day at the office. Regardless of what else he’s done. Unfortunately he’s the type of panicky defender that just courts this kind of calamity all the time.
There are very few positions we couldn't do better with. Son, Kane and that's about itI don't care if he had a good game.
His mistake has cost us that game. As usual with him and Dier tbh they can both play well for most of the time and then do something really stupid.
This doesn't happen with top class defenders . For example Ruben Dias never does that.
We need better.

mate it was a pen.Penalty was a joke in my opinion, if Lacazette actually kicks the ball then Sanchez blocks it and we all say "wow what a great last ditch block". Turns out he misses the ball cos he is a useless cunt and boots Sanchez instead. Penalty kick? Fuck off.
When you have a gooner on sky say it wasn't a pen you know it was a shit decision.Penalty was a joke in my opinion, if Lacazette actually kicks the ball then Sanchez blocks it and we all say "wow what a great last ditch block". He goes boot-to-boot with Lacazette. If Lacazette kicks the ball, then the ball is in between the 2 boots. Not sure how this is any different to Lacazette just ignoring the ball and choosing to kick him?mate it was a pen.
