To be fair, there’s not much difference between Dier and Sanchez to be honest, they are both dire... Sanchez has more speed but Dier has better distribution, both are prone to mistakes.
As a matter of fact Dier has been playing LCB all season and Sanchez when selected is RCB.
Sanchez is currently playing on the right instead of Toby.
Toby has recently played 3 games instead of Dier on the left.

True, but the fact Mou has accommodated Sanchez by moving Toby from RCB to LCB tells us he's lost trust in Dier. It's saying I even prefer a RCB specialist, Toby in your position.
The main thing for me is that Toby and Sanchez (despite his faults) both defend better than Dier. And their partnership has looked promising in recent games. Sanchez' speed and aggression coupled with Toby's experience, defensive nous, distribution and leadership.
OK. That's your opinion and there is obviously some truth in it because Dier has been missing recently.
But let's see who gets selected in the big games coming up.

Good game today, he was very unlucky with the penalty. Aside from one bad clearance he did his defensive duties well. Definitely improving with a run of games.

His mistake has cost us that game. As usual with him and Dier tbh they can both play well for most of the time and then do something really stupid.
This doesn't happen with top class defenders . For example Ruben Dias never does that.

There are very few positions we couldn't do better with. Son, Kane and that's about it
75 minutes of shit football cost us the game, not one mistake. You can’t play as shite as we did and then blame one player for the result.
We should be more concerned with why world class players like Kane and Bale disappeared than from a single small mistake from Davinson.

He goes boot-to-boot with Lacazette. If Lacazette kicks the ball, then the ball is in between the 2 boots. Not sure how this is any different to Lacazette just ignoring the ball and choosing to kick him?
