OK, Bill isn't organising the forum's long weekend abroad anymore.
Harsh Poch, last year's trip to Wuhan went off without a hitch

Logically speaking we can assume the following will def play

Gollini

Doherty Tanganga (banned for Chelsea) XXXXX Davies

Ndombele Winks XXXXX

Gil XXXXXXX XXXXXX

so that basically leaves 3 positions to fill while also trying to keep people fresh for Sunday.

is it a possibility that the coach in Croatia is preparing Dav and Romero to start together on Sunday?

either way - with no Dier just yet, and the 2 South Americans away it makes Rodon almost a guaranteed starter on Thursday.

Midfield is tricky, I could see us going with Niall John in there? Hojbjerg is overplayed already but we'll need someone willing to play a forward pass. if we Presume at the weekend we'll have the Dele/Skipp/Hojbjerg combo it's likely to be Dele of the 3 that can handle another game considering he has no international exertions?

Up Top with Gil..... Fuck a Duck!

Scarlett and if Bergwijn recovers on time I guess him, leaving Kane and Lucas to start vs Chelsea and Pray Son might make a miraculous recovery.

so I'm going

Gollini

Doherty Tanganga Rodon Davies

Dele Ndombele Winks

Bergwijn Scarlett Gil

A Point will do.

Lots of porn in that starting lineup. Xs all over the place.

You will note that Spurs are ranked 13th with 78 points in UEFA Club Coefficient points - 2 points behind Woolwich on 80 points.

However UEFA Documents

Clubs are guaranteed a minimum of 2.5 points in the group stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League, even if the number of points actually obtained during this stage is lower. This guaranteed minimum is not added to points actually obtained in the group stage and is not included in the association coefficient calculation.

So the match on Thursday (whatever the result) moves Spurs above Woolwich in UEFA coefficient points - the first time we will have been above Woolwich since 1991/92

Make you happier and more interested ?

Always good to beat the gooners in any capacity.

11th in ligue 1 this french mob. Nuno needs to put a decent enough to team out there to win. No point playing in tournament if not interested. 75 per cent strength team will be enough to win over there. Get a bit of confidence before chelsea game. Kane needs a full rest to get his fitness and mind right.

this is such a dilemma for me... i want to go all out for this and endeavor to win the whole... however there is a big potential trade off... and the more you think about the permutations, the more you'll get second guess... is an ECL push the difference between 4th and fifth... or the difference between 6th and seventh... or <gulp> 9th and tenth? I think the usual successful approach is play your second stringers until the knockouts, then review team selection at that time... so if you don't get through with them, the squad is not strong enough, cut your loses at elimination and focus on the epl

I don't want this manager throwing in a team full of kids like the first game in the conf league Qualifier
the manager needs to understand that every team we play in this and every london derby are cup finals & giant killings for the teams playing us (don't think the manager understands that)

so the team that Vonnegutboy has works for me, maybe have Scarlett and rest Lucas or bergjwin (if not 100%)

We arent winning the league, even the league cup and facup willl have real top 4 PL teams in it. This cup is the only where we have a chance of winning the whole thing. We better give it a proper go.
