Blasphemous, every game involving Liverpool is special!
It enables Liverpool an extra few hours recovery...something we wouldn't have been gifted.
I going into the game kind with the outlook that it is a free shot, fully expecting us to lose so anything we get out from the game is nice.
Even if we lose and Woolwich win tomorrow, if we win at Woolwich (which unless something crazy happens feels like a must) then we'd be 2 points behind and they'd feel under pressure.
A draw against Liverpool would probably do little to help us get top 4, but would be a nice morale booster. Unless we can win, the most important thing to get out of this game is the right confidence and outlook to try and win every game after this.
