Always defending the status quo.

This is extremely optimistic. If anything we have seen how teams have figured Ange out already. We saw the same with Arteta and Klopp and they all had to tweak their set ups each year to perform. If we go out and drill our players the same way for next season it'll be even worse than this year.

Not defending, just not about the throw him under the bus.

Sitting behind the ball and looking to counter isn't finding someone out. Teams have been doing it against the better footballing teams for decades.

Having better players capable of unlocking those teams as well as being able to keep possession to limit the counters is where we go up to the next level.

But that's on the board giving us the right tools to do so. History tells us they wont.

So why didn't he?

That lot went to City and sat behind the ball and got the point they were looking for, a point that has kept them in the race to win the league and yet there's fans here talking about philosophies and "attacking football" as we fight to hold 5th place.

The gap is a chasm and it's made worse by the fact we finished above these for a few years only for them to win silverware during it and to bounce back and challenge for leagues while we harp on about a fraudster being right about not employing a set piece coach cos he has Mile Jedinak and insisting on playing a high line with all out attack no matter the opposition.

What a great mentality that will breed into the players eh?

We could be down to 9 against Chelsea at home or we could have a chance to stop the scum winning the league, doesn't matter cos we'll play naive football to please the so called "fans".
firstly we’re at home. Woolwich played more reserved at city. It wasn’t everyone behind the ball, clearing it up to no one. They got more defensive towards the end of the game. We’re also at different stages as teams. Early Arteta Woolwich had loads of performances where they tried to be the dominant team and got taken apart by teams being Calculating and sucker punching them. They had to go through that period. People conveniently forget that

A lot of bullshit spoken last summer about how "all Spurs fans want is a team that entertains, regardless of the result". We were portrayed as a fanbase that would clap and cheer if players were balancing the ball on the end of their nose.
There were many on here with that losers mindset. It's like Levy's own loser philosophy trickling down and infecting the fanbase.

"Ooohh just give me good football and I'm a happy billybob"

Hey, Billy Bob mate Billy Bob mate ,you happy today, matey?

Rodgers got found out in this league, Wee Ange is also getting found out. These types of manager have a pretty style of football which they will persist with even when it’s not working. (Yes Rodgers won a cup but apparently we don’t like winning cups at Spurs).

Football clubs with ambition should never, ever hire a manager who has won the Buckfast League. Let them earn their stripes elsewhere first.

Managers like Arteta are the exception, not the norm. Usually when you hire a high pedigree of coach, you win the big prizes.

If Rodgers had the season he had in 13/14 here he'd still be the manager and he'd have the same clowns claiming he just needs another window or 2 to sort the squad out.

No need to worry about the fact he cost them the title by being too gung ho when they could have just played for a draw etc.

These clowns on here would have lapped it up.

The PL's most successful manager ever came straight from the Scottish league.

You absolute clown, as if Scottish football in the 80s is in anyway shape or form comparable to what it is now.

BTW, the PL's most successful manager won the league and a European trophy with Aberdeen not one of the old firm so don't try and compare them.

Too many cunts in our fan base let him off the hook with the appointment of Postecoglou which was bizarre in itself.

There's a nasty trend reappearing on TFC of posters on here calling other fans clowns, cunts and everything in in between because they're not having a meltdown. It's almost like people have different opinions and expectations and you can't cope with it.

I'd be astonished if you've done anything more about your grievances than be a loudmouth on the internet.

It's almost as if saying all managers from a certain league are bad is a really stupid thing to say, isn't it?

We signed Romero when we had Conference League football under Nuno mate. I am sure we'll be fine ffs.

Talk about reactionary.

Signing players is normally about money. Chavs never have any issue signing anybody. All that in the CL bolloxs is nonsense most players/agents if they get more cash will come. Obviously being in the CL gets you money which helps.
