We've just got to keep our side of the bargain and win as many as we can...

The destiny of the league title was taken our of our hands when we lost at home to Leicester... even a fucking draw would've pegged them back to within touching distance...

I've just got a feeling they will meet SOMEONE soon who isn't buying into the Leicester story and actually wants to BEAT THEM! Palace are that kinda 'party pooping team' so who knows...

Everyone else seems dead set to let them lump it and time waste their way to the title, whilst somehow managing to convince the rest of the country they're playing champagne football!!

Scored an offside goal. Did they have other chances at all? Newcastle, on the other hand, was denied a penalty when Morgan took it upon himself to be a goalkeeper.

Lucky indeed. All they seem to have is a mix of effort, discipline, luck and Mahrez. Seems to be enough for a trophy.

Heard something along the lines of Vardy having been given more penalties this season than any _team_ in the PL. Can anyone confirm?

The refs put money on Leicester as winners when they were 5000-1?

They must be the luckiest team I have ever seen. Still fail to believe that it can last, but after 30 games you'd start to believe. Only good thing was they were nervous and was outplayed at times today. Hopefully Crystal Palace can beat them!

Nah, it was back in our hands before WH. Had we won that we'd have been top with equal games played.

Important we get stuck into Bournemouth from the off. They play some very nice football and Eddie Howe has them set up very well, it's no coincidence they are where they are in that table above.

What I have noticed is that they use their fullbacks a lot, the same way we do. Smith and Daniels get forward a lot, put balls in the box and aren't afraid to shoot. We need Lamela and Eriksen, if they start, to really push on them to keep them back. The difference we have is that Dier will sit in as third centre back giving us that cover, something that has contributed to our fine defence record.

Kane was awesome on Sunday, never gave the Villa centre halves a moments rest, and the same needs to happen this week. They aren't blessed with pace at centre half, so Alli's runs will be vital.

Keep Afobe, Gradel and Ritchie at bay and use the ball like we have all season, let Dembele run the show like he has then we should continue our form.

Premier League weekend stats
  • Jamie Vardy has won six penalties in the Premier League this season; twice as many as any other player.
  • In fact, Vardy has won more penalties alone (6) than all of the other 19 Premier League teams this season.
  • Leicester City have been awarded 10 penalties this season in the Premier League - twice as many as any other team

Bournemouth are the only team that run further than us. They are not the team who we thrashed in October, on my Birthday btw. :levywhoa:
We will get no room from them, but they do go at teams.
Will will need everything to win this one, and every game we play.
Fasten your seat belts.

Hope their keeper is on form again

...well there is that, yes...
I meant when it was first taken out of our hands... HAD we beaten/drawn against Leicester, we would at least have denied them points OURSELVES...
as it is, we now have to rely on the likes of Adebayor, Lennon and CHELSEA doing that for us in the coming weeks!!
