Man sized player doing a man sized job, that is a difficult league to play in, its tough, physical but rewarding if you can do well, leave him there and bring him back in the summer and play him in games with 20 mins to go and if it doesn't work, loan him back out again.
I do think this is Scarletts problem, he need a loan to feel the pressure of playing for real points .

The 2 options for 20 year old Kion Etete are :
1 A Championship loan next season (either full season or half season) to get him used to playing at a level above where he is now with a view he re-joins Spurs first team at the start of 2023/24 (and its preseason) or
2 He plays in next preseason and impresses enough playing alongside the Spurs first team that he stays as part of the Spurs first team in 2022/23, as you suggest, getting meaningful playing time from being a sub with a couple/few starts. But that really means manager needs to agree in pre-season that Etete is good enough and physically developed enough. I'd love for that to happen, but its in Conte's hands - that would have the double advantage of Etete becoming a Club Trained played under uefa rules plus allowing Parrott the opportunity to join Spurs first team the year after Etete, as it would be all but impossible to bring them into Spurs first team in the same year. .

Dane Scarlett will be is still 17 (18 in a month's time) so 2 years or so younger that Etete and has had little first team playing time nor u23 playing time in the last year and would almost certainly benefit from a loan, maybe League1, to get experience of mens football.

Etete gets a mention or 2 here. Alfie May gets another couple in a 4-0 win over Donny. 10 in 7 matches.

And from CTFC Twitter.....A great move in the attacking third sees Kion Etete bring a ball down brilliantly. It finds its way to Matty Blair whose delivery from the right is met by fellow wing back Ben Williams who expertly heads in his first goal for the club.

For a big guy he does seem to have a very good touch.

Oh God, how I loved those shirts. Great color and a sponsor that was a perfect fit.

Going through his goals, he could have been a monster/Drogba type, if his head was right. Was good kit.

Hopefully Kion eclipses him (if he eclipses the Loan Adebayor, we have a player!)

Seems to be going well for him at Cheltenham, hopefully impresses in the summer and either stays at the club or a championship loan.

The way he's settled and bossing things, in weeks, suggests he's ready for 1-2 levels up in the summer.

Would like a Prem promoted team, who wants to play a focal/target man, or a top half Championship team, either way, imperative it suits him (will be really pissed if we loan him somewhere he's a 70-80 minute throw on the big guy option, which the Prem loan might be, so would love a situation like Borja, a team with a hole he fits, as high as possible, bet he feels pretty invincible right now, had some good nights in Cheltenham about his age, bet he's loving that to!).

Definitely gone ahead of Parrot, would love for him to show he's good enough to be on the bench next season but probably needs another loan.
