Possibly a bit early for a thread for him, but all the signs are that Nile John will fearture for the first team this coming season, possibly as our 6th CM (Ndombele, Lo Celso, Hojbjerg, Skipp plus 1) with playing time mainly in Europa Conference League and domestic cups, probably whilst also playing with u21's (so far he's only made 10 appearances for u21's, remakably few)
First, OS thoughts on Nile John in pre season :
Decent review of Nile John :
Our scout is a top football expert who attends matches each week searching for the next star. He'll bring you his verdict for Sportsmail. This week, Tottenham's Nile John is under the spotlight.

He was played as a winger until the last 12 months when he was moved to play as a CM, but an attacking CM. Still only 18 he's 5' 8'' tall, plays with great energy, skillfull on the ball and tenacious, usually a hugh pass completion %. Has a decent shot on him - might need to have further shooting training to improve him.
A regular in England youth set ups, made his Europa League debut last season against Wolfsberger - only about 9 minutes but made an impression, and made bench of last match of PL season v Leicester. And of course 2 early appearances in preseason v Orient and Colchester so far.
One for the future no doubt, but I'd like to see both Nile John and Alfie Devine get minutes this coming season - maybe 10 appearannces each - mainly in Europa Conferencde League and domestic cups, maybe even a sub appeatance or two in PL.
