Sanchez was actually OK this evening (the context being he was our best defender), poor for their final goal and when on the ball he's not good enough/confident enough with his distribution but played far better than the simply appalling Doherty (this also impacts more on Sanchez as he plays next to him), Davies was poor too and whilst he's still young (still need to be straight with any criticism) this wasn't a great night for Tanganga (improved slightly in 2nd half).
Sorry but disagree.

Doherty was very bad too, but it doesn't directly make Davinson to be non-existent when he's required to do his own job. Davies offered nothing going forward, but was not shaky as all dealing with his own men, picking the right runners to mark. Tanganga was not flawless, but he dealt with any danger coming to his area just fine.

Sanchez, however, was at the midst of LASK attack all game, and he couldn't deal with his. Not just the final goal. Sanchez couldn't read the situation all game. LASK targeted the area Sanchez watched over, either in front, or the channel between him and Doherty. Always one step behind them. The second goal, he was not aware of the movement of the scorer at all. He neither mark, or cutting the passing angle. We can blame Joe Hart for shit goalkeeping, but these kind of chance doesn't occur often at top level since it's basic positioning.

I am genuinely disappointed with our squad players at present. Usually when a team goes top and results are good, there is a knock on and players start to push on. They start wanting to be part of that first eleven. I watched with awe when Leicester won the league as really average journey men raised their level....not happening for way to many.

A lot of people here being blinded by the Joe Hart performance.

Almost everyone else was shit.
Sanchez does behind Tanganga in the pecking order now. Honestly I don't know who would pay 10 million for him anymore.

Team looked like they were on drugs. Couldn't control the ball, pass it, lost so many tackles.

Jose got the tactics wrong in the sense that the style we want to play requires a focal point for wide players to run. Son can't be that focal point. Should have played Bale through the middle, Lucas right and Son left. Lucas can't play left side. Totally anonymous, waste of space there.
Throwing on too many defenders which means they all leave it to each other. We just needed to keep the ball in forward areas.

Lessons learnt in the team that everyone has wanted to see. Swap Kane for Lucas and you have the midfield and striker line up everyone wanted. But we bypassed the midfield by playing direct. Defensively didn't look right either. Right channel with Lo Celso there caused us trouble, Bale doesn't track enough and I think we would need Sissoko there to babysit the right back if Bale plays RW.

It should be very obvious,

that the defensive line (mourinho’s specialty) was at fault here

The back line which is mostly unplayed, did not connect with the front line.

the balls went from back to mid as opposed to mid to front and we looked like shit.

good news is mourinho doesn’t lose to Woolwich and we will batter them on Sunday

So what you're saying is we shoulda hoofed more long balls and entirely bypassed the midfield?
