Correct VAR would mean we probs would have led 2-1 going in at HT.
In the second half we were on top as they tired.
IMO the VAR decided the game.
Not saying Leeds didn't deserve their win but the VAR was crucial and IMO was wrong/bent.
 
I dont fault Mason here. Played much the same lineup I would have and made the subs I would have. We just got outplayed. We have a real quality problem on the team in the back 4.

I watched the game. Both teams could have scored any amount of goals but we scored a kosher goal and if that goal had rightly stood the whole game would have changed.
Anyway-don't matter we lost.
Hope we can drag something out of the rest of the season but the French mafia is unlikely to contribute much.

Just don’t let the Harry Kane transfer saga run to the last few days of the window and then panic buy for the sake of every single fans sanity, that never works out well for anyone.
Get your answer from Harry before he departs for the Euros, it’s that simple, keep it a secret if that works for everyone, but at least know early, just put the club first for a change and get to work early.....

He played Winks in the final. Then he brought on Sissoko. Hes also playing Dier the donkey everygame.

So player-for-player we’re worse than Leeds today, for example?

Not buying it. Sorry. It’s like when Harry took over from Ramos - the squad’s bloated but should be comfortably into top half and then fighting for 6th to 4th as we have better ‘star’ players than ever before (with perhaps the exception of Gazza or peak Bale).

A bit of a clear out, a couple of decent acquisitions and we’ll be back on top 6-3 next season (depending on the others around there, of course).

You look and see doom-and-gloom, I see massive underperformance, basic errors and a tired squad with a lack of cohesion.

Time will tell.
