He definitely was a problem child, judging by City letting him go and reports from dortmund re time keeping etc. But he was just a teenager then. Maybe he not grown up yet and he is still a problem? Seems like the ManU powers have all the confidence in the world in ETH to allow him to fuck up the value of a 100m asset like this.

Yeah fair - I think he's a bit misunderstood because he's aloof and quiet, it looks like he has an attitude problem but I reckon he needs a manager who can connect with him on his level - Ten Hag isn't that, it seems like he's a bit of an old skool disciplinarian.

This situation is weird because I can see both their point of views.

The culture has changed at Tottenham because Levy has changed, pretty obvious that.

Getting Paratici in was a massive key to that, he's the one who was responsible for changing everything from scouting, recruitment - he even changed the look of the team busses to have the club logo on them to the way the players dress on match day.

Utd's culture has been poor for a while, they don't have football people at their club - Ronaldo said as much in his interview - when you don't set the right culture at the top of companies it always seeps down the hierarchy to the bottom,

They had Rangnick, they just chose to ignore him and then jettison him because ten Hag didn’t want him there. If they had done what he said they’d be in a better position.

Now their fans are even having less sex....but the Spurs fans are not far behind

FANS of Premier League teams are having less sex in midweek because they are too busy watching their footie idols play in Europe, a poll found.
One in five — 19 per cent — shelve nookie to see the game on TV or at the pub with mates.

Man City, Man United, Woolwich and Newcastle play on Tuesday and Wednesday nights in the Champions League.

Liverpool, Brighton, West Ham and Aston Villa have been playing in other European competitions on Thursdays.

Man United fans are most likely to miss out on sex, a third romping less, the survey revealed.

Jonathan Green of casinos.com, which quizzed 2,000 fans, said: “Long-suffering football wives and partners who put up with losing their partner to football at weekends are now losing them in the week as well.

“The Champions League is the best football in the world and fans of all teams seem unable resist the extensive coverage either at home or in the pub with mates.”

Woolwich and Tottenham Hotspur fans came joint third on 28 per cent ahead of Crystal Palace in fourth place on 27 per cent, West Ham United fifth on 26 per cent and Sheffield United sixth on 25 per cent.

Everton fans came seventh on 23 per cent with Chelsea eighth on 18 per cent, Fulham and Liverpool joint ninth on 17 per cent, Wolverhampton Wanderers tenth on 16 per cent, Nottingham Forest eleventh on 15 per cent and Aston Villa twelfth on 14 per cent.

The first thing I thought was does he have a second set of jaws that shoot out of his mouth like a frogs tongue?

But then I thought crystal skull and the rest is history!

I just don’t like Rashford. I think he’s one of those players that hides when the going gets tough and I think he’s more worried about his image than anything else. Contrast him with someone like Saka who works hard and performs for his team every week. They both signed huge contracts in the summer. One rested on his laurels, the other kept his form going and pushed on.

If I was offered the chance to sign one or the other I’d pick Saka straight away.
Compare Rashford to N’Dombele

How is he looking now?

He doesn't hide he just isn't that good. Every season has a purple patch where he looks top class, sometimes Long sometimes Short but he always reverts to mean.

People that rate him concentrate on the purple patch rather than his more often norm

United's problems stem from the way the entire club has been mismanaged.

They are the biggest club in the world, yet have outdated training facilities and an outdated stadium. They traded in local talent who loved the club for mercenaries looking for a quick buck.

The entire club is living in the shadow of past glory.

A few good points on Ratcliffe and what the media are overlooking

I am sceptical the glaziers will give up any power to him. All they are doing is getting a payout whilst keeping control of the club.

If Manchester United lose this it is their eighth defeat in 15 games - and they are 3-0 down with only minutes to play, so it'll be a fact shortly.

You have to go back to 1972 for the last time that happened and it saw then Manchester United manager Frank O'Farrell sacked for a run like that.
And it was only two seasons later they ended up relegated, could history repeat itself? :p

They're in a real mess. Hopefully it continues.
:mourhandlaugh:

But I can't see Ten Hag lasting another defeat, the place is toxic at the minute.

If they get Conte in I'd imagine rat Neville will change his attitude towards him, say he's exactly what the club needs.... only for it to all end in tears again
