CL also comes with other bonuses, Sponsorship deals have CL progress/win clauses. CL tickets are more expensive, more shirts are likely to be sold.Compare these massive numbers with the Ropey and Conference league and it all becomes clear why they're a drain on resources.
I've a better idea buy one get one free:tanguyhuh:Can we put the price up?

He's not a pure CAM. He's played countless games for Argentina in a a 3 man midfield as the left mid, hovering just behind the winger in attack and as a box to box CM when off the ball, pressing and tackling all over the pitch.
He also sometimes played central and sometimes as a right mid.
Size and physicality are DEFINITELY not the reasons he didn't work out in the PL.Maybe he can get away with being a "box to box" CM in international play- Prem is a different beast and he's too small to play CM there. In a 3 man midfield sometimes its two CAMs and a pivot (CDM) anyways...
Not that I don't wish him well. Hope the good play continues (to a payday for us).
David Silva is a testification of that.Size and physicality are DEFINITELY not the reasons he didn't work out in the PL.
Not giving two fucks is in the answer somewhere.Size and physicality are DEFINITELY not the reasons he didn't work out in the PL.
Kicking a football with the force of 6 year old girl might also have had something to do with it.Not giving two fucks is in the answer somewhere.
Silva was easily ten times the player Lo Celso is. Silva never played CM much in the Prem though, as I recall.David Silva is a testification of that.
