Apologists will always spin and distract mate.Come off it mate. He said it in 2016 so spending window should surely be something like 12-16? Not the 16-18 when we spent literally 0.
I am not saying you are wrong about anything else. Just this one thing: you claimed he never said it would affect spending. He CLEARLY did as I quoted you two separate occasions (16 and 19). Just admit it please.
well we all know for normal sane people, that’s not the case. That being said, 1 league cup in 24 years is pretty abysmal for a club of our size. A club decorated in history and winning trophies, yet our trophy record during the Prem era is embarrassing. Even worse is that we had such a good team under Pochettino, and even Redknapp, yet failed to win a single dime. Just infuriates me.
Them winning the cup changed everything in my mind.As i posted elsewhere, this is their worse season in a generation. Yet they have a trophy and are better placed in Europe next season.Serious question. What season would you prefer ?
Spurs - we finished 6th - got Europa cup place but have to play and win in the long winded qualifying stages before we enter it proper
Woolwich - finished 10th, but won the Fa cup meaning they get a Europa cup spot proper and a trophy to their name
Give me Arsenals season any day of the week. Only person it benefits is Daniel Levy. 6th means jack shit now. Would much rather of finished 10th and won the FA cup
Welcome backSure the 2020/2021 season didn't go the way we want to but finshing 12th means we were better than 8 other teams so I think people being upset about finishing 12th need to......GET SOME PERSPECTIVE.
Exactly this and also the disrespect of the Europa League like thats beneath us! Reaching the CL final by good luck and ignorance was not all it was cracked up to be in the long run it put us or some of us in a false sense of being something of greatness that we quite clearly ain’t. If Levy and the club had taken advantage and strengthened the squad in the aftermath then fine but no we/ they thought we’d arrived at the big time in truth we should have never been anywhere near that final. Man. City, United etc are all happy with participating and winning the league cup why the fuck are we not? We’ve nowt to be proud about in terms of what we think we are better than, next season the league cup I’d be delighted if we’d win it, F.A Cup fecking cock-a- hoop with that jaysus if the league organised a tiddlywinks competition I want that as well....That’s exactly it mate, lack of bottle and a losers mentality this club have adopted. This is why it pisses me off when Spurs fans put down the league cup. What right does any Spurs fan have to put down any cup competition, considering we win so little. If we would of won a league cup, I’m pretty sure with the team we had, we would of gone onto bigger success as the club would of got the monkey off their back and acquired an actual trophy. I am fed up of it.
Don't bother with other teams because we're not exactly in the position to be giving it the big one
No you did the right thing putting the cunt out of his misery
We have even overtaken them for the decade. Does not seem we have been on top that long. Table shows Premiership results for whole decade

Your'e kind nature amazes me surely three kicks in the bollocks on a Sunday ?They are the new West Ham and they don't really bother me, but the animal in me could chin a Woolwich fan every day of the week. And twice on Sunday.
