They are a decent side but lack depth. Been completely exposed at the tail end for the last two seasons when injuries take their toll. If they come at the start, it could mean they have a mountain to club and they fall off early

Im not saying it’s bollocks at all, he clearly has a style of play but I can’t imagine he will be as rigid as Conte and will find a way to adapt it for Kane’s goals and all round class.

I’m a fan of the concept of having the right people “on the bus”. If you don’t want to be part of the journey then get off. Get the right people in the right seats.

Harry is definitely a person you want on the bus. But what happens when he doesn’t want to be on it?

If Harry wants to leave and he changes his tactics / approach to fit Harry into the team then the whole team ethic / culture that is being discussed is compromised immediately.

His long term project gets sacrificed for the short term gain of Harry Kane. Who he then loses for £0 in 12 months.

It’s going to be interesting to see what happens next.

Kane has always been the model pro so I’m sure he will knuckle down and follow the instructions given

I would say that 2019 we bought Ndombele and Lo Celso - Pochs No1 targets, for club record fees and also on huge wages. Money spent on managers desires, when ENIC were trying to push on from a CL final and another Top 4 finish, despite just about getting 4th after a horrendous end to the season.

Whilst it didn't pan out and the summer of 2018 was a real letdown, there is blame on Poch's side too for not being flexible on incomings.

I think our downward trajectory is much, much more nuanced than you're admitting too.

170m on Rice and Havetz isn't worth it. If we have that money to spend we can spend a lot wisely than that and still get quality players.
