Comfortably got us beaten in the EL. Absolutely shocking display to go with all his other dopey FKs, pens and shit shows v Leicester, 'Pool et al which have cost us a great season.
Anyways that's that for him, hopefully.

Kane/Vini up top didn't work last game.
Lo Celso at RM again?
Tanganga a CB at RB when we are playing Newcastle?

Apart from that ye its a good lineup.

Absolutely no problem seeing Tanganga there. If he’s our future, let’s play him as much as possible.

It’s more the idea that Serge is awful. He’s played really well all season. Yes, some mistakes, but he’s miles ahead of Dogherty.

I'm not happy to see them on the bench but damn happy they're not in the starting XI.

Slowly inching closer to being completely gone.

Dier, Winks and Sissoko are not playing. How on earth can you accuse him of sticking to favourites when Dier is dropped and Toby is left out altogether? They were his first choice at the start of the season.

The players with the biggest appetite for the game, are in the starting XI. That’s how it should be. It doesn’t matter how good Toby was 4 years ago or that one time Serge played 90 minutes without doing something stupid. We have to be ruthless now. Putting trust in fading players like Dier and Sissoko is what has led to our decline.

You saw what happened with Woolwich yesterday when their youngsters were out and they had to rely on older, less interested players. Aurier is running down his contract and wants to leave. He shouldn’t play again unless there’s an emergency.

Well he’s got Dier (shit this season and gave a massive long rope to) on the bench and we’ll see how this theory holds up.

Unusually for Mourinho, he’s on a club with a budget and he needs to know that you kill players value when you behave like this at clubs like ours.

On paper that midfield is genuinely great, but for some reason when all three play together they don't quite work. Have zero explanation for why that is, except that maybe they just haven't gelled as a threesome yet because at least one is always injured.

He wasn’t selected for the last match either. He’s out of favour, it’s clear. There was a long spell of games where Mourinho used Dier and Sanchez in the league, he doesn’t really trust Toby anymore.

Davinson and Rodon are younger and hungrier than Dier and Toby and it’s right that they play. Whichever of the latter two gets to be an unused substitute is of no importance.

You’re confusing Sissoko with Aurier. Cost us two of the three goals.

Because as today they will be played as part of a 4 rather than a 3.

Lo Celso will play from the right which isn't his best position.

Not sure we have ever seen Hojberg and Ndombele with Lo Celso in front.
 
Hopefully this is the end of dier, Sanchez, aurier, Winks, sissoko, Doherty, Davies.

if we were to sell these players in the summer and buy absolutely no one, it would still be an improvement to the squad.

I'm still confused as to why bale is in the cold again after being so good for 4 games. He didn't even start in the dynamo farce so can't be taking too much blame for that.

My point is that Toby and aurier should be in the squad, aurier has been brilliant this season barring that performance, Toby is easily 3rd choice cb.

im not talking about the line up (although I would have aurier over tanganga). It’s just a disgrace to me that we aren’t selecting the squad based on performances and ability.
