A lot of teams should be beating other teams . It’s a very odd season . We should have comfortably beat them a couple of years ago, we didn’t , but thankfully gotlucky in the 96th minute. Out of the two games , to me this is more important . So I would go with the strongest possible team. Get a decent lead , then make the changes

Good idea and with 5 changes allowed seems the best route?

I'd be quite disappointed if we didn't use this to rest players.

And I'll keep those, who want us to play strong, in mind when they complain about fixture pile up and tired players later in the season.

If we lost to Liverpool or lost to Wycombe which game would you be most disappointed about ?

I don't rank losses on who they're against.

All losses are disappointing.

However, playing a strong team against Wycombe will increase the likelihood of a loss against Liverpool.

If we can't beat Wycombe with a weakened team. We dont deserve anything.

Mourinho on injury news

"The injury, no doubts, is still Giovani Lo Celso who will be a couple more weeks. We have two or three players who have small injuries.

"Matt Doherty, who was not involved at Sheffield, Dele Alli, has not been training in recent days with small problem in the tendon, and Serge Aurier, not really well. We still have three days before the match though."

Lo celso out a full month already, could really do with him back soon with the fixtures coming thick and fast. Obviously more serious than first thought.

Aurier clearly ill.

I'm amazed the media believe anything Jose says.

With the injury problems mentioned and the need to rest Kane, Son & Holjberg I suggest the following team
Lloris
Taranga, Toby, Rodon, Davies
Sissoko, Winks, Ndombele
Bale Vinny, Moura.
The bench needs to be strong in case we struggle to score.

How about if I WANT us to play strong and DON'T complain about fixture pile up and tired players later in the season?
😂
