Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Got to make sure this doesn't derail our season.

We move on.

Bournemouth away on Sunday. Go from there.

One win away from a Cup Semi final too.

Chiellini: "Spurs just need that little something to start winning games like this - a trophy, a spark, a something. when you can't win with great football you have to find another route. we used all our experience and know-how to win tonight.”

He's right you know.

Exactly what I think a FA Cup win would do to us. A taste for it.

I'm disappointed with the lack of concentration and professionalism they showed during the second half.

The back heel flicks, the show boating, the constant attacking despite the fact we didn't need to. I wish Poch had brought on Rose for Dele and moved Davies into a back 5. Or Wanyama on for Eriksen, moved Dier into a back 5. I wish we had just been negative and tried to see out the game, rather than pushing up to the half way line when we're already winning.

Not every game needs to be gung ho. Not every game needs to be pretty. I just don't get the defence pushing up so high at that point in the game. Keep it at 1-0 until the 75th minute and we're almost guaranteed to go through.

We need to learn to be Italian. Time waste. Go down. Keep the ball. Run it into the corner. Bring on more defensive players once winning. We did none of this. And yes, I know it isn't "The Spurs way", but the Spurs way has brought us fuck all Glory in the past decade and that's not the Spurs way either. I think Mourinho is a dickhead and his football terrible, but I would have enjoyed having him as our manager for the last 30 as I think we would have seen the game out.

Poch needs to react far more with his subs - something most of us already know by now. You can't simply put out an 11, wait until you're losing and then panic and throw every attacker you have on. We see this far too often.

Disappointed, not because we lost, but in the naive way we did so. We should have won tonight.

P.s. After seeing how toxic opposition fans have been on the BBC comments post I hope we absolutely fucking nail the FA Cup now more than ever.

Good points but what I love about Poch is we will take the glory doing it our way and we will lose doing it our way.

We don't sell our values down the river and play like a cynical negative bunch of cheats.

As for other fans, let's see how they get on.

One team will win the PL, one the FA Cup.
No English team is winning the CL.

That means every one else has failed so let them laugh. Let West Ham laugh while their own fans are kicking the shit out of each other and they go down.
Let Woolwich laugh.....Wenger staying and battling it out for 6th with Burnley while Milan wipe the floor with them.
Liverpool, yeah laugh away, you spent 200M to gain 2pts on us. 4-1. See how far they get with a proper draw.
Chelsea.....laugh away. You can laugh when you go out next week too and when we go 8pts above you at Stamford Bridge.

Only team who can laugh at anyone is City in the long run, so basically fuck oppo fans.
We've got a lot more to laugh about than they have.

I don't think anyone's acting as if we would of won if Rose was on the pitch, the prime Rose of 2016 though yes maybe but who knows?
It's worth remembering he's been through a long period of injury and to call him crap is going way to far.
Rose in his prime was over a year ago, so it's as pointless as saying if we had Gazza from 1989 we'd be better off.

Funny how Davies has practically played all season but every time we lose a game "the full backs aren't good enough"

He was good enough when we went 17 unbeaten and when we won the CL group though...

Apologies to people who made intelligent, reasoned comments, but I haven't got the time or the inclination to read them all.
We didn't disgrace ourselves, just paid the ultimate penalty for taking our eye off the ball. One goal from 20 shots is not a great return, but we deserved so much more. Still, that's football, don't always get what you deserve.
We have to accept that Juve are so much more experienced at this level of Champions' League competition. Hopefully, we will have learned some lessons, and we will take these forward into next year (fingers and everything else crossed).
Don't really want to say more, as still a bit upset, but realistically, we weren't expected to progress this far in the CL. But it hurts how the game turned so quickly. Just hope that it doesn't derail the rest of our season.
We did the Spurs tour around Wembley this afternoon. Obviously it was a little flat due to the result, but enjoyable all the same. You get the chance to walk up the stairs to the Royal Box, and have a photo with a replica of the FA Cup. I declined, as 1) I didn't want to jinx us actually winning it and 2) I already have one with the real thing!

It's weird, straight after the first leg I was really confident, even allowed myself to think about the next round (stupid of me I know).

The closer we get though the more I am shitting my pants.

If we continue our form of rising to the occasion at Wembley, make sure our talent shines through but stay mature in our performance. Then we will be fine I'm sure.

Can't afford another nightmare start, and we need to do a number on Dybala. He is by far there best player and they have missed him dearly.

We need to remember that we have seen off some of the best teams in Europe at home in this campaign. It would be mightily shit if this old tart were the ones to do us over.

Still, I have faith!!!

COYS

We didn't bottle it.

We came from 2-0 down away from home and then lost to a team that have been in 2 of the last 3 finals and have won their domestic title for the past 6 or so years.

We will learn from it.

He shit himself a minute earlier when Harry hit the post and wasn’t prepared to give us a second chance. Bent Polish bastard
Stick to fucking plumbing and milking our system
Unnecessary xenophobic bullshit.
Nothing wrong with the many Polish people I know. Work hard and pay their fucking taxes. Unlike many of our own I'm afraid

This thread is making me all nostalgic for when the forum was full of mostly 1882 movement types.

No wonder really that only a handful are left.

I genuinely wish the melters, Knee-Jerkers and over-reactors would either fuck off and find another forum or fuck off and 'support' someone else.

Not sure what Rose has done post injury to warrant such plaudits, the 2016 version of Rose was a world beater, this one not so much. Even the man himself admits he’s not fit enough to play for Spurs
