Our resident Leicester fans have gone a bit quiet...

An exasperated "oh fuck off ref" isn't the same as starting to leave the field, returning, sticking a finger in the ref's face, and calling him a "fucking cunt". All referees will send you off if you call them a cunt.

Don't kid yourself that Moss's (correct) decision will bother anyone outside of Leicester. Why can't your fans deal with decisions? "Everyone hates us, it's a conspiracy, Jon Moss is from North London (born in Sunderland, lives in Halifax btw) the London based media is against us, nobody wants us to win, SKY want a close finish, I won't support England in the Euros because they've treated Jamie so badly, football is finished, Spurs fans are nasty, can Vardy take legal action against Moss?

Jesus Christ, if we win it it, it will be because of our thrilling football - and that's what people will remember - not a refereeing decision. You could argue you got a point because of one. Stop bleating.

To be honest, he could of had a ban/red for this too vs Watford:

^^ Didn't they get 3 points from that match?
If I remember correctly, others have been banned for similar.

And as for not a dive, looks like he got away with the same move here

Don't normally agree with what he has to say normally, but this is spot on from Stan Collymore...

http://betting.boylesports.com/football/trust-premier-league-don't

Do You Trust The Premier League? I Don’t.

Stan Collymore
Where has the integrity of the league we love gone?

There used to be a time when the only (and I say only with tongue firmly in cheek) thing football fans had to worry about their teams and players were kiss and tell stories in tabloids and whether the star player came back to pre-season with an extra love handle.

Integrity Missing In Action
Now, we have the last 4 managers to face Leicester City all expressing a preference that they want the Foxes to win the title. We also have last season’s player of the year but this season’s liability of the year, Eden Hazard, suggesting without any irony, that before him and his side play Spurs and Leicester, that he essentially will do anything to stop Spurs from lifting the trophy but may well lay out the rose petals for the Foxes on the last day.

Add Mamadou Sakho offering up a positive drug test for a fat burner, (yes a pro athlete folks who trains 6 days a week and plays 45 high octane football matches) and maybe football fans across the country may just start to wonder if a few cracks are starting to appear in the world’s greatest league.

Cycling, athletics and many other sports which have had problems over the years have suffered because the watcher can no longer trust what they see in front of them, and when that goes, the whole sport starts to crumble as a legitimate competitive sport.

Hap-Hazard
I’ve heard people say over the last few days “ah Stan, but you should know that Hazard and Chelsea hate Spurs”. I get it, but to then gleefully say on TV that he wants Leicester to win the title, after a season where I am questioning the fight and commitment of him and his team (a year after being Champions) makes me feel uncomfortable. When you feel uncomfortable watching the sport you love, you should stand up and speak out in my opinion.

It’s just not right for Hazard to express a preference with both teams to play.

Why? Because to be honest after going from brilliant to crap, then crying off the pitch in two games, I just don’t trust the lad, I’m sorry, but I don’t.

Blackburn faced Liverpool back in 1994 while United went to West Ham. Everyone thought Liverpool would hand King Kenny the title as Liverpool hate Man United. I was in the Sky Sports studio that day as a guest and I had no feeling whatsoever that Liverpool, at Anfield, would lay down. No feeling at all.

Watching games in this run in, unfashionable though it is to burst the Leicester miracle narrative, again watching a replay last night of the Swansea performance, I felt uncomfortable. I didn’t see a team that in any way shape or form say “You’re not winning this against us”. I’m sorry, I just didn’t see it, and several Swansea fans who called Collymore yesterday were much less kind, and they watch their team every week!

Sporting integrity, the trust of what we see in front of us.

Stupid Sakho
Sakho. Liverpool fans who say “he’s not that type”, “he’s one of us”, “fat burners aren’t PEDs” are all deluded. The point of lines in the sand where banned substances are concerned is to not cross it, ever.

I was tested twice in a 14 year career. Once in the Premier League, once in UEFA Cup.

Players now can go from pennies to £150k a week next season by taking risks, gambles and being downright devious if they so wish, safe in the knowledge that the risk is worth taking.

Don’t believe the bullshit coming from the authorities on testing, the odds of being caught are low. When Mark Lawrenson or Gary Lineker say “PEDs can’t make you trap a ball”, it’s about as ridiculous a view as saying the earth is flat.

PEDs can make you run faster, for longer, game in game out. They can make you build muscle in double quick time, muscle which is used to grind your way through the world’s toughest league with no winter break.

Bigger, stronger, faster, more alert, more aggressive. In a sport whereby these attributes are top of the list for every scout and every coach, and little skillful Johnny at the academy is told to “come back in a few years”, you can see that a player may see a golden opportunity to say “bigger, stronger, faster”, I’ll have some of that.

So for a Premier League player and French international such as Sakho, at one of the world’s greatest and most high profile football clubs to take a fat burner is not only gross stupidity on a grand scale, but along with the daft Hazard comments, makes football fans feel uncomfortable, and again, I repeat, when you aren’t sure what you see is real, eventually the whole house of cards comes tumbling down.

Prove Me Wrong!
I want Chelsea to beat Spurs and Leicester now and show us what Champions can do, rather than the modern mercenary like Hazard who has a crap season then perhaps tootles off to Madrid. Prove me wrong!

I want Sakho’s B sample (it comes from the same test tube by the way, there’s no magic other sample to test) to say that there is no fat burner in there and it’s all been a bad mistake on the part of UEFA because I want to believe that not only a player who trains daily, would not need to take fat burners in April.

But then the sceptic in me knows that slimming pills, diuretic agents, potions and pills of all kinds are used to mask real performance enhancing drugs! So I desperately want to believe that this isn’t a problem in our game.

Leicester is an amazing story, I know many great people who I still contact there, but I need to know they’ve earned every damn win thrown in, never mind point. Why? For players like Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher who worked like trojans, carrying a club on their back for 1200 plus games to just fall short of a trophy that N’Golo Kante may win in 38 Premier League games.

Reassurance Is Needed
I need to know that players in the Premier League that I watch week in week out are fit and strong because of their dedication, fitness regimes, character and personality to see them beat an opponent, not by taking pharma short cuts.

I’ll ask you, the true fan one question. After a week where Hazard and Sakho raised questions in my mind about Premier League integrity, do you trust what you see in the world’s richest league?

I'm sick of this rubbish from our own fans that we've 'bottled it' over the last two games. We lost to a good team away from home by a single goal in their biggest game of the season and then dominated but ultimately drew against our rivals and, when you consider the save on the line from Kane which was a bees dick from a goal and the save from Lamela, we were very unlucky not to win after being the better side. Sure, if we lose to Villa and Bournemouth in the next two then maybe those fans have a case but these knee-jerk reactions are still ridiculous; we're still second in the league and within touching distance of the top.

A lot of doom and gloom here. And a lot of results-based perspective.

Before two very tough games (this season’s WHU, away, is a tough game; a derby against a 3rd placed side which has a huge point to prove, is a tough game) we’d won 6 on the bounce! Don’t remember our players looking jaded, tired or burnt-out in those… I remember beating Moneybags City away (scoring late) and coming back from a sucker punch 0-1 to win 2-1, in a game we just never stopped running.

And I remember a pretty rotated side beating Italy’s 3rd best team comprehensively.

Actually, West Ham is the only game I can remember in which we actively underperformed. We played the Scum off the park on Sat, could’ve won but that’s football. We are 2nd for a reason, we can lose the next game and still be 2nd, for a reason (GD). We are closer to 1st than 4th.

Apocalypse, this is not.

All I heard at WHL against Dortmund and seeing it more and more here is an obsession with finishing above Woolwich.

Why are we talking about Woolwich when there could be a title?

No one finishes above the team that wins the league.

Please stop being obsessed with finishing above Woolwich, it's fucking embarrassing considering it's our best season in most (probably all) of our lifetimes.

I think I predicted 5th or 6th in August , I really didn't think we had a squad to compete for top 4 . What Poch has built in this team & how the new ones have mostly slot in seamlessly has been nothing short of superb.

It's been a great season

Looks like the FA have decided to try and win the league for you w

Have to take my hat off you to tonight. I knew you would destroy Stoke and you did. Looks like your title now. Pity the FA and ref has had such an impact to what was otherwise a fantastic two horse race. I just hope the season is remembered (outside of north London) for the right reasons and not the season the FA decided who won the league. To all those having a go at our style of play - football is a points game and we have done fantastic to get where we are. Spurs play fantastic and attractive football and have done fantastic to be where they are. The FA have stuck their nose in along with a cheating ref this weekend to influence what was a brilliant season. Sky and the FA have what they want which is a big club winning the league rather than little old Leicester.

Congratulations to you guys and wish you well in the CL next season.

Well done to the ref and FA also. If it wasn't for them who knows who would have ended up winners.

Nothing you can say about style of play or tactics etc will take away the FA and ref have decided what happens this season.

I didn't know the Ref from your game and the FA could do all this:

I feel that whilst we are basking in the glory of the best season that many of us can remember that is important to remember the pain that we have left behind us.

For only those who have suffered in the darkness can truly appreciate the light (and i'm not even talking about when that detestable Ex Gooner was grinding out painful 0-0 draws every week).

AVB's last season in charge was agony for me. We'd sold the best player i have ever seen play in lillywhite with my own eyes and had spent a lot of money in return, broken our transfer record twice in fact. The bar had been set high.

I had a one year old daughter at home who was unwell, and in between visits to the hospital football felt like my only respite. 90mins of escapism to forget the stresses of home life and immerse myself in the glory of THFC.

Instead i got to watch drubbing after drubbing after drubbing. Red cards and capitulation. The City results were easier to take, they were unstoppable going forward that year, but conceding nine to liverpool and losing to the spammers three times was almost enough to break me.

But it all seems worth it now. Even if we don't go on to win it (i think its too late to be honest), the football we have played this season, the team we have put together with this great man to lead us. The sense of pride i feel when i see stats like those posted above. The promise and potential we have going forward. The way we are going about it.

TO FINALLY FINISH ABOVE THOSE SELF ENTITLED NOMAD PRICKS AND NOT HEAR ABOUT THAT POXY SHADOW ANYMORE.

That will be more than enough for me.

Does anyone really think we can beat United or Chelsea? Or even Stoke.

We've been solid, and hard to beat, not overwhelming the opposition.

I don't think we are favourites by any means to win against United or Chelsea, and we haven't done so for a lifetime anyway.

We have failed all our tests so far. Newcastle, which wasn't even a test, Leicester, West Ham, Woolwich, Liverpool.

No one wins the title on draws. Nothing in the Liverpool match suggested we could beat them or United or Chelsea.

For all the stakes and talk and strength and youth and etc. we have not upped our game and have not looked close to title winners. We just haven't beaten enough teams, especially the better ones, to justify it.

Of course, if Leicester collapse, which seems impossible, and we win the remaining six, then of course we deserve it, as we would have had to do something to up our game. The current performances are nowhere near good enough to win the League.

I don't even know why there'd be pressure on the lads, they're not leading. They have to catch up, so they have to play out of their skins, and they haven't. All well and good to roll over Villa and Bournemouth, which by the way, wasn't convincing considering how easy everyone takes Villa apart.

We'd have to see a remarkable, unbelievable turnaround for United but I don't think they are up for it.
The worse, most negative bullshit I have ever had the displeasure to read on here.

I can't even begin to pick that post apart, such is the level of shit entangled within each sentence.

I can only imagine supporting Barcelona would still be a difficult for you, let alone Spurs, such is your desire to obliterate every opponent we ever face.

I've never, ever insisted anyone should ever leave this forum, but if you have nothing positive to say about this season, then I don't think you have anything of value to add to the board.

Incredible, incredible review of our best season for ... 30? 40? 50? years...

Bottom line is since a wonderful first 2/3rds of season Leicester are now under microscope in media and have been found out

Every time Leicester have been on TV the last 6 weeks there is always hours of media discussion afterwards for wrong reasons. Be it the repeated handball issue, referees, corners wrestling, diving for penalties, this is what happens at Leicester every week while the fans hit the cardboard and can't believe they are top.

After our games they are replaying goals, dream passes, movement, celebrations, there is no controversy, no reliance on pushing the rules.

Leicester may still win but their fairy tale has more ugly stepsisters than Cinderellas
